Just installed a heavy duty tie rod on my non-power steering model, but at full right lock, it slightly contacts the Sure4 unit and a small boss on the front diff,, just enough to pinch paper. The steering stop doesnt seem adjustable, but i'm considering adding a thin metal shim to the bracket to limit travel a bit. Any thoughts?

Tie rod rubbing at full lock fix?

You can definitely use a thin shim at the stop bracket to limit the travel. Just make sure it's nice and secure, and keep an eye out to ensure it doesn't mess with the normal steering range. You want everything to feel smooth and easy, right?
