Just picked up a used 2017 Brute Force 750 about a month ago. The previous owner kept it completely stock so now I'm starting to look into some performance mods. I've been doing a lot of reading on exhaust systems but I'm still a little unsure about the best route to take.
I'm not really concerned about making it louder, I'm more focused on performance gains. I've seen a lot of guys running slip-ons and others going with a full system. Is it really worth the extra money for a full exhaust, or will a good slip-on give me a noticeable boost over the stock muffler? I'm trying to figure out if the performance difference justifies the price jump. Any advice from people who have gone either way would be great. Thanks!
