Auxiliary Electrical Accessory question

My 2010 Brute Forge 650 has this connector which I know is on only when it's in reverse, so I'm guessing it's for reverse lights or stuff like that. My question is if there's a way to convert it to sent power all the time?

I experienced the same issue with my Brute Force, having only reverse power from that connector was confusing. It's designed for reverse lights, so it'll only supply 12V when you're in reverse. If you're looking to have it on all the time, just find a key-on 12V source, tap into it, and run it through a fused relay to that connector. This way, you'll keep things safe without interfering with the original wiring.
